Advertising is available on Max channels with 1,000 subscribers or more. Ads appear after the main content and can lead either to the promoted channels and posts within them, or to external websites. Advertisers can use two ad formats: text ads and display text ads.
To launch an advertising campaign, the following steps must be followed:
• Access the VK Ads control panel;
• Select the "Channels" promotion objective and add the channel link;
• Set the targeting criteria according to geographical location, demographic characteristics, and other audience characteristics;
• Add the ad in Max.
The general manager of the "Max" platform, Farit Khusnoyarov, noted that "advertisers in the testing phase can promote in more than 1,500 channels on the messaging application, and this number will increase later."
