The International Football Association (FIFA) announced the release of tickets for the 2021 Arab Cup competitions in Qatar through its website, starting tomorrow, Tuesday, at twelve noon, according to the priority of purchase.

The upcoming tournament will witness the announcement of the readiness of two stadiums for the Qatar World Cup 2022, namely Al Bayt Stadium, which will host the opening and final matches, and Ras Abu Aboud Stadium, which is the first fully dismantled stadium in the history of the World Cup.

The Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy in Qatar announced the implementation of the smart fan card system during the Arab Cup, whereby all match ticket holders are required to obtain it to enter the stadiums, and it will allow them to use public transportation for free during match days, and a smartphone application will be launched before the tournament. With the aim of enhancing the fan experience in the country.

Issuing a fan card online requires a copy of a valid passport or ID, a match ticket, as well as a confirmation number. Parents of fans under the age of 14 must apply for the card on behalf of their children. Once the issuance request is approved, the fan can head to collect it from the Doha Exhibition Center or Hamad International Airport.

In light of the current challenges posed by the “Covid-19” epidemic, the State of Qatar will apply all preventive measures to ensure the health and safety of all participants in the competitions, and attendance at the matches is required to obtain the full dose of one of the vaccines approved by the Qatari Ministry of Health, and to adhere to the travel guidelines approved in this regard.

It is noteworthy that the 2021 Arab Cup, which will be held from November 30 to December 18, will see 16 Arab teams compete to win the championship title, which is expected to provide fans and visitors a glimpse into the unique experience that awaits them in Qatar when it hosts the World Cup. football next year.
