Continuing violations of the occupation: injuries, arrests and targeting of fishermen and shepherds in Gaza

Governorates (Wafa - Today) Friday, the Israeli occupation soldiers and settlers continued their aggression against our people, their sanctities and their property, as a number of citizens were wounded with live bullets during confrontations with the occupation and the suppression of activists, and 11 citizens were arrested, and shooting and tear gas canisters towards fishing boats and farmers and shepherds in the Strip, while settlers attacked a citizen by spraying him with pepper gas near Bethlehem, and he forced a Jerusalemite to self-demolish his house in Silwan 

Injured during confrontations with the occupation and the suppression of activities

Two young men were wounded by live bullets in the Al-Qadam area, 14 others by rubber-coated metal bullets, and 56 suffocated with tear gas, during the clashes that took place in Jabal Sabih in the town of Beita in the south .

Four journalists were also attacked by the occupation army, and one of them was taken to Zakat Beita Hospital.

Eight civilians were wounded by rubber-coated metal bullets, including two paramedics and a journalist, and 40 civilians, including two journalists, suffocated with tear gas, during clashes that erupted with the occupation army in the village of Beit Dajan, east of Nablus .

3 civilians were wounded by rubber-coated metal bullets, and 37 were injured by suffocation with tear gas, during the clashes that took place in the Hawara checkpoint area, south of Nablus.

In the town of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya, 10 civilians were wounded by rubber-coated metal bullets, including a 13-year-old child, during the Israeli occupation army's suppression of the weekly anti-settlement march and the closure of the main entrance to the village.

11 detainees in Jerusalem, Jenin, Hebron and Bethlehem

The occupation forces arrested five young men from Nablus governorate, and severely beat one of them, near the Qattanin Gate, one of the gates of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque .

The occupation forces also arrested the two young men, Hassan Abdel-Ilah Al-Sharbati, and Ramez Bashir Sadaqa, after raiding their homes in the village of Anza, south of Jenin .

At a checkpoint erected at the entrance to the town of Beit Doqqu, northwest of Jerusalem, a force of the occupation army arrested the two brothers, Suhaib and Abdel Salah Rayan, after stopping a vehicle they were traveling in.

The occupation forces a Jerusalemite to self-demolish his house in Silwan

On Friday evening, the Israeli occupation forces forced a citizen from the Silwan neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem to self-demolish his house in the Ras al-Amud neighborhood .

Our correspondent in Jerusalem reported that the Jerusalemite, Mahmoud Abu Diab, proceeded to self-demolish his house, this Friday evening, after the Israeli occupation municipality gave him the choice between self-demolition or paying the demolition costs, which may range between fifty and sixty thousand shekels . 

The occupation targets fishing boats and shepherds in Gaza

Israeli warships fired their heavy machine guns at fishing boats operating in the Sudanese Sea, northwest of Gaza City, forcing the fishermen to retreat, even though they had not gone to the sea since the day before yesterday due to the high waves due to the current depression .

The occupation forces, stationed at the Sofa military site, east of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, targeted sheep shepherds with machine guns, forcing them to retreat without causing any casualties .

In another attack, the occupation forces opened fire at agricultural lands east of Al-Fukhari town, east of Khan Yunis, in addition to shooting east of Wadi Al-Salqa town, east of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

In the context, Israeli drones fired tear gas canisters at bird hunters east of Al-Tuffah neighborhood in the Gaza Strip, while another aircraft fired tear gas canisters at fishermen and agricultural lands east of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip .
