"Creative economy products in Indonesia have a quality that is not inferior to foreign products," he said in a statement received in Jakarta, Wednesday.  In accordance with President Joko Widodo's direction, he said the government had abolished requirements that hindered the use of domestic products, MSME products, and cooperatives. He explained that the MSME sector was proven to be able to absorb 97 percent of the workforce in Indonesia with the contribution of the creative economy sector to exports reaching 15.06 billion US dollars.  "Meanwhile, in terms of job creation, the creative economy sector is able to provide 18.7 million job opportunities in 2021. I encourage MSMEs to start go digitalIn order to be able to be part of the new economic order," he said.  As the Daily Chair of the Proudly Made in Indonesia National Movement (Gernas BBI), Sandiaga ensured that efforts to digitize and improve the digital economy ecosystem from creative economy products were increasingly widespread in the BBI Gernas Program in 2022.  "Gernas BBI is expected to be one of the steps driving economic revival and job creation," said the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy.
