50 Israeli violations against Palestinian female journalists were monitored within six months The Palestinian Ministry of Information monitored 50 Israeli violations against women journalists during the first half of 2022, and indicated that it recorded 281 attacks against women journalists from 2016 until mid-2022.  The Palestinian Ministry of Information said, on Wednesday, that it had monitored 50 Israeli violations against female journalists during the first half of 2022.  She added that "the occupation is chasing truth guards," noting that "50 violations of women journalists' rights were recorded" from the beginning of 2022 to the middle of it.  She pointed out that among the attacks were two assassinations, 15 beatings, 15 denial of coverage, and two rubber bullet wounds.  In the two cases of assassination, the ministry refers to the correspondent of the Qatari "Al-Jazeera" channel, Sherine Abu Aqleh, who was killed on May 11, while covering an Israeli army incursion into the city of Jenin, in the northern West Bank, and the local journalist, Ghufran and Rasna, who was killed north of Hebron (south).  The ministry stated that the attacks affected 33 journalists, while Jerusalem topped the rest of the Palestinian cities in terms of the number of violations, with 31 violations.  She pointed out that she had recorded "281 Israeli attacks against female journalists from 2016 to mid-2022."
