Because of the participation of its players in the World Cup in Qatar, Clubs get millions of dollars from FIFA  The International Football Association (FIFA) announced today, Tuesday, that it will distribute 209 million dollars to the clubs whose players participate in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.  And the international body said - in a statement - that each club will benefit from "about 10,000 dollars for each day that one of its players stays with its national team in the 2022 World Cup, including the days of official preparations."  The authority added, "Every club for which the player participating in the last two years preceding the 2022 World Cup will benefit", which will take place between November 20 and December 18 next.  This initiative has already seen 416 clubs from 63 member associations benefit from the same amount after the 2018 World Cup in Russia, according to FIFA.  The International Federation established this system before the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, after an agreement with the European Club Association, whose teams include most of the players participating in international competitions.
