He said the FOLU Net Sink 2030 is an implementation agenda of climate mitigation and adaptation that is designed in relation to forests and land.  The agenda also includes forestry activities and community participation, such as customary forests and mangroves with silvo-fisheries or ecotourism as well as monitoring deforestation from peat (decomposition and fire), increasing the capacity of natural forests to reduce degradation and increase regeneration, restoration and management of peat water, restoration and forest rehabilitation, sustainable forest management, to optimizing productive land and law enforcement.  In 2022, the Ministry of Environment and Forestry has carried out various activities to accelerate the implementation of Indonesia's FOLU Net Sink 2030, including the preparation of work plans and sub-national outreach involving various stakeholders at the district to provincial levels.  This year's agenda is in the form of disseminating information on Indonesia's FOLU Net Sink 2030 program to the site level in 22 provinces.
