Portugal Arrest of a German accused of forming an armed group opposed to “Covid” measures

A German man was arrested in Portugal after being found guilty of forming an armed group to oppose government measures against anti-coronavirus measures in 2021, German prosecutors said on Tuesday.
The prosecution in the city of Koblenz reported that “the 39-year-old man had recently been living in Bavaria and was indicted in June. He is accused, along with two others, of forming a criminal organization and an armed group called “Paladin” in early 2021,” while prosecutors said. “The armed group aims to act against anti-coronavirus measures.”

“The suspect is accused of producing weapons parts using a 3D printer and holding training courses with other members of the group, but no evidence has emerged of plans for any attack,” prosecutors noted in a statement.

The prosecution confirmed that "the suspect's location has been unknown since at least June, and he was arrested in Portugal last month. He is now in pre-extradition detention in Portugal, but it is not yet clear whether and when he will be transferred to Germany."
