The ChatGPT page had more than 79 million views when all the views in the different languages ​​on the page were combined.

The ChatGPT chatbot, developed by OpenAI and launched in November 2022, became the fastest growing application in the history of the Internet, reaching 100 million users in just over two months.

The article “Deaths in 2023” was the second most viewed Wikipedia article, with 42.6 million page views.

The 2023 Cricket World Cup (38.1 million views), the Indian Premier League (32 million views), and the Oppenheimer film (28.3 million views) ranked third, fourth and fifth, respectively.

There were some surprises about the most important Wikipedia articles of the year, as people around the world searched for J. Robert Oppenheimer, nicknamed the “Father of the Atomic Bomb,” the director of the Manhattan Project’s research on the atomic bomb.

Oppenheimer came in seventh place for the most accessed Wikipedia page, with 25.6 million views.

It was followed in eighth place by the Indian film Jawan with 21.7 million views, then the Indian Premier League with 20.6 million views, and in tenth place by the Indian film Pathan with 19.9 million views.

Among the other topics that occupied the top 25 places in the Wikimedia Foundation's ranking of the most viewed articles on Wikipedia were Taylor Swift, Matthew Perry, the Barbie movie, Elon Musk, Andrew Tate, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and the United States.
