The raids included restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers into the mosque. The raids take place through the Mughrabi Gate in the western wall of the mosque.

The occupation army also arrested 12 Palestinians, between Sunday evening and Monday morning, including a child and former prisoners, according to a joint statement by the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs Authority (official) and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club (Ahli), which raised the total number of arrests in the occupied West Bank to 8,505 since October 7. /October 2023.

Most of the recent arrests, according to the statement, were concentrated in the Hebron Governorate (south), in addition to others in the Jenin and Tulkarm governorates (north) and Jericho (east).

Data on detainees since last October 7 included those whom Israel maintained in detention and those it later released.

Israel continues its war despite the issuance of an immediate ceasefire resolution by the Security Council, and despite its appearance before the International Court of Justice on charges of committing "genocide."
