Jakarta - The Ministry of Communication and Digital said that the proposed efficiency of the 2025 budget ceiling, which was previously IDR 4.49 trillion or 58.17 percent, has been restructured or adjusted by the Ministry of Finance to IDR 3.84 trillion or 49.57 percent.
"The result of the adjustment, the Ministry of Communication and Digital experienced a budget adjustment with a budget efficiency of IDR 3.84 trillion or 49.57 percent of the budget allocation ceiling for the 2025 fiscal year," said Secretary General of the Ministry of Communication and Digital Ismail, monitored online in a Working Meeting with Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives, at the Indonesian House of Representatives Building, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday.
The efficiency was carried out in response to Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 1 of 2025 and the Letter of the Minister of Finance Number S-37/MK.02/2025 concerning the Efficiency of Ministry/Institution Spending in the Implementation of the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget for the 2025 Fiscal Year.
