Jakarta - The Ministry of Communication and Digital held a dialogue with a number of electronic system organizers (PSE) to draft regulations for child protection in the digital space to be more effective and can be implemented well.
Some of these PSEs include Google, including YouTube, TikTok, Vidio, Meta, representatives of the gaming industry, financial technology (fintech), and transportation, as well as digital and technology industry associations.
Director General of Digital Space Supervision at the Ministry of Communication and Digital, Alexander Sabar, in a press release from the Ministry on Thursday, emphasized the importance of regulations that can be implemented in real terms.
"We want to ensure that this regulation can run well and provide optimal protection for children," he said.
