Jakarta - Persija coach Carlos Pena believes that his potential opponent, Madura United, remains a tough team even though it is at the bottom of the Liga 1 standings.
The match between the fourth-placed team and the 15th-placed team was the first match after the competition was suspended due to Eid al-Fitr.
"Madura has improved a lot with this coach (Alfredo Vera) in the last few matches. They show good confidence, not only in the league, but also in the Asian competition," Carlos said at a press conference, via an audio recording received by reporters on Saturday.
"And they got good results. So, tomorrow we are ready to face a tough opponent," he continued.
"We have analyzed them, we know all their strengths, and we will try to be better than them," he continued.
