He pointed out that Israel has adopted a strategy of leaving nothing behind for the new administration in Syria. He noted that any instability in a country neighboring Turkey will affect and harm it.
In this regard, he warned that Ankara could not remain silent on the matter.
On the other hand, Vidan said that the United States must "recalibrate" Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and set a framework for him, explaining: "Netanyahu is challenging the world with American resources, and the United States must put an end to him."
He also noted that US President Donald Trump respects his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as a leader, and that they have a good relationship.
In a related context, the Turkish Foreign Minister said, "The platform established by Türkiye through cooperation with regional countries—Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria—is extremely useful and focuses on security issues, particularly the fight against the terrorist organization ISIS."
