The government has partnered with the Indonesian Telematics Society as a collaborative partner in an effort to realize digital transformation and achieve the Vision of Digital Indonesia 2045.
Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Nezar Patria conveyed the importance of collaboration in efforts to realize the Vision of Digital Indonesia 2045.
"Without collaboration with Mastel, I think the Vision of Digital Indonesia 2045 will be difficult to realize, because here all the digital technology players, infrastructure, but with IT governance are gathered," said Nezar in his press statement in Jakarta, Thursday.
"Without strong collaboration, I think our path forward will be difficult," he added.
The Mastel technology industry association has been a partner of the government in efforts to grow the national telecommunications industry, including achieving the 2014 Indonesian Broadband Blueprint target which is the foundation for equal internet access.
"Because of this collaboration, by 2025 we will have achieved 97.45 percent 4G coverage in residential areas," said Nezar.
Therefore, the Ministry of Communication and Digital wants to continue the partnership to achieve long-term targets such as realizing the Vision of Digital Indonesia 2045.
