Leo/Bagas admit it's hard to beat opponents in BAC semifinals

Leo Rolly Cardando/Bagas Maulana admitted that they had difficulty breaking through the defense of Chinese men's doubles Cheng Bo Yang/Liu Yi in the semifinals of the 2025 Badminton Asia Championships (BAC) which ended 21-13, 18-21, 12-21.

"Their defense is much tighter compared to last year's meeting," Leo said in a written statement received in Jakarta, Saturday.

However, Leo was grateful to be able to reach the semifinals and contribute a bronze medal for Indonesia.

He thanked Bagas for supporting him and admitted that his play on the front line did not show much skill.

"In the third game I slipped and it made my left knee feel uncomfortable, it felt a bit uncomfortable," he said.
