Meta announced three new AI models from the Llama family, noting that these software will provide users with unique data processing capabilities.
Meta experts noted that the new AI models, Llama 4 Scout, Maverick, and Behemoth, can now work with the Meta AI assistant in the desktop applications WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram. These software are also capable of processing text and written data, as well as images and videos, providing users of these applications with unique capabilities.
According to experts, analysis has shown that the Llama 4 Scout model has the ability to process contexts of up to 10 million tokens, outperforming models such as Gemma 3 and Google's Gemini 2.0 Flash-Lite, as well as the open-source Mistral 3.1 model.
As for the Maverick model, Meta indicates that it competes with the GPT-4o and Gemini 2.0 Flash models, and offers performance similar to the DeepSeek-V3 model in programming and logical reasoning tasks.
The company is expected to unveil its future plans regarding artificial intelligence at the LlamaCon conference, which will be held in late April.
