PSSI will hold an Annual Congress ahead of the Indonesian national team's match against China in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers for the Asian zone, early June.
"On the 4th the congress, on the 5th the national team match, on the 6th Eid al-Adha. In Jakarta, we will announce the hotel later," said PSSI Secretary General, Yunus Nusi, in Jakarta, Monday.
"For the participants, they are still old participants, there are several that will be scheduled at the upcoming congress. All are normative, nothing extraordinary."
"Except there will also be a submission of changes to the statutes. While still in process, it is also possible that it will enter the socialization stage first to fellow congressmen," he continued.
Yunus could not yet explain in more detail the changes to the statutes in question because they were still being socialized to voters as congress participants.
However, Yunus said that one of the points of the statutes that might be changed was regarding the authority of the PSSI Provincial Association (Asprov), which would be explained at the congress.
