Still in commemoration of Kartini Day on April 21, the United Nations (UN) Agency for Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment, UN Women, collaborated with LinkedIn to launch the "Link Women" program in Indonesia.
The initiative is part of a regional partnership between LinkedIn and UN Women, which has previously been successfully implemented in India. Link Women aims to improve the skills of women in Indonesia and bridge the gender gap in the workforce.
"Along with the rapid transformation of AI in the world of work and its relevance to various fields of work in the future, LinkedIn has the opportunity to help women to be better prepared to face the world of work and entrepreneurship in the digital economy era," said Head of New Business LinkedIn Indonesia Lanny Wijaya in a press release.
