8,000 participants compete for Rp800 million in prizes in BFI Run 2025



As many as 8,000 participants are set to compete for Rp800 million, including podium prizes and the Overseas Marathon Challenge in Sydney and Melbourne, in the annual BFI Run 2025 running competition at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Tangerang Regency, on May 18.

"Without realizing it, this year is the 8th year of BFI RUN as an important part of the healthy living journey of the wider community and has become a long-awaited running event," said BFI Finance President Director Sutadi in his official statement in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Carrying the theme "Elevate Your Potential" and the motto "Energi Potensiku", this race sparked high enthusiasm from the runners which was reflected in the online race ticket sales which immediately sold out in just 2 hours and 15 minutes on December 12, 2024.

This running race is divided into three categories, namely half marathon/HM (21.1K), 10K, and 5K with a maximum time to complete the race of 3 hours for HM, 1 hour 45 minutes for 10K, and 1 hour for 5K.

Specifically for the Overseas Marathon Challenge (OMC) program, the race committee provides prizes for two race destinations, namely the Sydney Marathon and the Melbourne Marathon.
