Apple reportedly set to release smart home hub in late 2025

 Apple is reportedly set to release its first smart home hub device by the end of 2025, according to a recent report from Bloomberg technology journalist Mark Gurman.As reported by Engadget on Monday, rumors about the smart home device first surfaced in 2022, when the project was reportedly approved internally by Apple. However, its development has faced challenges because the device relies heavily on Apple Intelligence's artificial intelligence technology.In a previous report in March 2025, Gurman revealed that Apple had delayed the announcement of the product due to difficulties in improving the capabilities of the Siri virtual assistant.
