One of Microsoft's latest artificial intelligence (AI) models called Aurora is claimed to be able to predict air quality, storms, hurricanes, and other atmospheric phenomena with accuracy and speed beyond traditional meteorological methods. In a paper published in the journal Nature and an official blog post, reported by Tech Crunch on Monday, Microsoft explained that Aurora has been trained using more than one million hours of data, including satellite data, radar, weather stations, simulations, and historical forecasts. This model can also be adjusted with additional data to improve the accuracy of predictions for certain weather events.
