Arema FC forms special division after passing 'club licensing'

Arema FC management is preparing to form a special division after being declared to have passed the PSSI and AFC club licensing for the 2024/2025 period.

"The formation of this special division is our proactive step to ensure that Arema FC not only passes the club licensing every year, but also continues to develop into a professional and highly competitive club," said Arema FC General Manager Yusrinal Fitriandi in Malang City, East Java, on Wednesday.

The special division will supervise and evaluate five aspects of club licensing assessment on an ongoing basis, namely youth development, infrastructure, personnel and administration, legal, and financial.

He admitted that the club licensing process still left several notes that needed to be considered and improved by management, one of which was the requirement for a coaching license for goalkeeping coaches.

The requirements for goalkeeper coaches are A license and GK Level 3 for goalkeeper coaches as per AFC regulations.
