 Chinese Prime Minister (PM) Li Qiang arrived in Indonesia on Saturday afternoon, and is scheduled to be received by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto in a welcoming ceremony at the Merdeka Palace.

Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media of the Presidential Secretariat, Yusuf Permana, said that PM Li Qiang will conduct a three-day official visit to Indonesia on May 24-26, 2025.

"The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Prabowo Subianto, plans to receive an official visit from Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang at the Presidential Palace May 25, 2025 at around 10:00 WIB," Yusuf said in an official statement received in Jakarta, Saturday.

Yusuf explained that after attending a series of welcoming ceremonies, President Prabowo and Prime Minister Li Qiang would also hold a meeting with delegations from both countries.

This meeting, said Yusuf, is a form of commitment from both countries to strengthen and improve bilateral relations between Indonesia and China, as well as strengthen cooperation in various strategic fields.
