Deputy Chairman of Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives Dave Laksono reminded the government to prioritize dialogue and diplomacy as the main solution to resolving the South China Sea (SCS) dispute.
"We must continue to prioritize dialogue and diplomacy in resolving the conflict in the South China Sea," Dave said in his statement.
Dave said that the 2025 ASEAN Summit could be an important momentum for dialogue and diplomacy in an effort to resolve disputes in the SCS.
"We must not rely too much on external forces. ASEAN must remain solid and united in facing these challenges," he said.
