Including the entry of thousands of soldiers... the occupation army is preparing to begin an "intensive phase" of its aggression against Gaza.

The official Israeli Broadcasting Corporation, citing unnamed informed political sources, said that the Israeli occupation army "is preparing to launch the second and intensive phase of Operation Gideon, with the aim of occupying new areas and remaining there, while simultaneously evacuating residents to the southern Gaza Strip."

The sources told the Broadcasting Authority that the goal "is to reach new areas within the Gaza Strip, particularly in the north and center, as part of the ground maneuvers being prepared by the Israeli security establishment, relying primarily on airstrikes."

This development comes four days after the Israeli occupation army announced on Sunday the launch of a large-scale ground operation in several areas of Gaza, both north and south. This is a practical implementation of Operation Gideon, which includes the complete evacuation of Palestinians from combat zones and their occupation.

According to Israeli occupation data, five divisions are currently participating in the war on Gaza: 98, 252, 143, 36, and 162, in addition to the two Nahal Golani Brigades.

The Israeli occupation army also announced on Thursday the return of the 98th Division to the Gaza Strip, continuing the escalating military buildup in recent days.

The army said in a statement that "the 98th Division has returned from Lebanon, Syria, and the West Bank to operate in Gaza (the date of its return has not been specified), as part of Operation Gideon's Armored Vehicles."

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with full American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, leaving more than 175,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, more than 11,000 missing, and hundreds of thousands displaced.

Gaza has been under siege for 18 years, and approximately 1.5 million Palestinians, out of a population of approximately 2.4 million, have been rendered homeless after their homes were destroyed in the war of extermination.
