Bayern Munich secured the 2024/25 German League title after their closest rivals, Bayer Leverkusen, drew 2-2 at Freiburg.
In the continuation of the 32nd week of the German League, Leverkusen visited the Europa-Park stadium on Sunday night WIB.
Xabi Alonso's team fell behind by two goals through Maximilian Eggestein's goal in the 44th minute and Piero Hincapie's own goal in the 48th minute.
Leverkusen managed to reply through Florian Wirtz's goal in the 82nd minute before Jonathan Tah made sure the final score was 2-2 in the 93rd minute, as reported by the official German League website.
An additional point makes Leverkusen have to be willing to see Bayern win the title this season. Because Leverkusen with 68 points from 32 matches, can no longer catch Bayern who has 76 points at the top of the standings with two matches left.
