A quick attack from the right side could not be anticipated by Liverpool's defense.Pedro Neto then sent a pull pass into the penalty box and was kicked by Fernandez who was free without any guard into the corner of Alisson Becker's goal. The score became 1-0.After conceding, Liverpool replied through Cody Gakpo's opportunity who stabbed from the left side in the 5th minute and ended with a curved kick, which was right on the keeper Robert Sanchez's catch.Liverpool did have more possession of the ball, but several times their attacks were broken up before entering Chelsea's penalty box.
