LIB does not want to interfere in Yuran Fernandes sanctions matter.

President Director of PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) Ferry Paulus admitted that his party did not want to interfere in the sanctions received by PSM Makassar player Yuran Fernandes who was sentenced to 12 months and a fine of IDR 25 million by the PSSI Disciplinary Committee.

Yuran received the sanction after making harsh comments on his social media about the quality of Indonesian football after PSM suffered a 1-3 defeat against PSS Sleman at Maguwoharjo Stadium on May 3.

"From the LIB side, cases like Yuran's also happened in previous cases such as Bojan Hodak or Paul Munster. Including issues about poor communication by club owners, we conveyed all of that to the PSSI Disciplinary Committee," said Ferry when met by media crews at a press conference at the PT LIB Office, Senayan, South Jakarta, Thursday.

"Because the Disciplinary Committee is an independent body, what I know is that the result was that the coach was given a stern warning. But I also don't know the description of this Juran regarding the 12 months," he added.

"From the league's side, we have no authority to comment because this is the domain of the Disciplinary Committee. What is certain is that all tabulated violations are sent to the PSSI Disciplinary Committee," he continued.

The punishment has been in effect and made Yuran miss the match against Malut United at BJ Habibie Stadium on Saturday (10/5). Meanwhile, Juku Eja still has two more matches left before the end of the season. The two matches are against Barito Putera and Persita Tangerang.
