Meizu tries to test the Indonesian "wearable" market, prepares smart glasses

Chinese technology company Meizu, which has just returned to the Indonesian gadget industry market, in addition to preparing products in the form of smartphones, has also expressed interest in the wearable market and is preparing smart glasses as its debut product in Indonesia.

Meizu Indonesia Country Sales Manager Floy Yang said in a media gathering with Meizu in Central Jakarta on Wednesday that the reason Meizu chose smart glasses as the first wearable product to be introduced was because of the belief in the high interest of Indonesian youth in technology.

"This product was previously well received in Japan, Europe, and even the US. They are enthusiastic about this relatively high technology. And I think Indonesia also has many people with a high interest in technology, especially the young people. So we are confident that we can market it in Indonesia," said Floy.
