The Ministry of Communication and Digital said that the draft derivative regulations of the Personal Data Protection Law are currently in the harmonization stage with related ministries/institutions.
"We are currently in the process of creating derivative regulations for the PDP Law, government regulations and this is currently being harmonized with the relevant K/L (ministries/institutions) regarding the articles in the draft," said Director General of Digital Space Supervision at the Ministry of Communication and Digital, Alexander Sabar.
According to Alexander, discussions on the draft derivative regulations of the PDP Law are still ongoing and it is targeted that the regulations can be completed this year.
