Game company 2K and Hangar 13 officially announced the launch of the latest game from the Mafia series titled "Mafia: The Old Country", which will be released on August 8, 2025 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC consoles via Steam and NVIDIA GeForce NOW.
The announcement was made during a special PAX East panel attended by Hangar 13 President Nick Baynes, Game Director Alex Cox, and Cinematics Director Tomas Hrebicek.
During the panel, Hangar 13 showed off an official gameplay trailer as well as the Developer Insights video “Breaking Omerta,” which reveals the creative process behind the development of the game set in the early 1900s in Sicily, Italy.
