Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto revealed that President Prabowo Subianto discussed several of his flagship programs in a bilateral meeting with Chinese Premier Li Qiang at the Merdeka Palace.
The flagship programs discussed included free nutritious meals (MBG), energy self-sufficiency, and the construction of a giant sea wall on the north coast of Java.
"We certainly expect (China's contribution, ed.) in the form of higher investment. The President spoke earlier about flagship programs, be it free nutritious meals, then also energy self-sufficiency. In the future, strategic projects, such as the giant sea wall , are also being prepared," said Airlangga answering journalists' questions when met at the Presidential Palace.
