"The right snack to have with tea plays a vital role in maintaining energy levels, digestion and metabolism, so it is important to choose wisely," said Sagarika Garg, nutritionist at Tata Soulfull, as quoted in a Hindustan Times report.
"Evenings often bring a natural energy dip and a nutritious snack helps restore vitality and prevent lethargy. Balanced choices also curb excessive hunger before dinner, reducing the risk of overeating," she explains.
He said that snacks that are rich in fiber and dense in nutrients can help the digestive process, preventing bloating, acidity, and discomfort when drinking tea on an empty stomach.
"The right snacks can stabilize blood sugar levels, improve focus and mood, which is especially beneficial for those who work or study at night," he said.
