President Director of PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) Ferry Paulus said the decision on whether the ban on away team supporters will continue next season will be decided at the end of May after the Indonesian League 1 season ends.
"What is certain is that we are still in the process of investigating. At the end of May, we will meet with the police as well to prepare for next season. After that, hopefully it can be done, so that it will be more lively," Ferry told reporters in Jakarta on Wednesday.
LIB, said Ferry, hopes that visiting team supporters will enliven the Indonesian football competition next season.
One manifestation of this hope is the launch of the Sobat Liga application at the end of April which can recognize supporters through a facial recognition feature, which is the answer to fulfilling the obligation for away supporters to be able to attend.
