The September 26 website, the mouthpiece of the Houthis' Ministry of Defense, quoted a local source as saying, "The Zionist aggression's aircraft launched a series of raids on Al Hudaydah Governorate."
The source did not immediately provide details about the targeted locations, and there was no immediate comment from Israel regarding the strikes.
Earlier on Sunday evening, Israel issued a warning to Yemeni citizens at the Houthi-controlled ports of Ras Isa, Hodeidah, and Salif in western Yemen, ahead of an attack.
Last Tuesday, the Israeli occupation army launched extensive attacks on the Yemeni capital, including Sana'a International Airport, central power stations, and a cement factory. This came a day after announcing the destruction of the port of Hodeidah in a series of airstrikes.
These raids resulted in the deaths of 7 people and the injury of 94 others, according to the Houthi group.
On the same day, US President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire agreement with the Houthis, following mediation led by the Sultanate of Oman. This announcement was described in Israel as "surprising." However, the Houthis emphasized that the agreement with Washington does not include Israel.
Last Sunday, the Houthis targeted Ben Gurion Airport in central Israel with a hypersonic ballistic missile, injuring eight people and sending millions fleeing to shelters.
The Houthis say they are launching missiles at Israel "in support of the Palestinians in Gaza," and they will continue to do so as long as Tel Aviv continues its war of extermination in the Strip.
With full American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 172,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing.
