The occupation army kills 4 Palestinians and kidnaps their bodies in Tammun, north of the West Bank.

The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported, citing security sources, that the young men were martyred after Israeli occupation forces surrounded them and targeted the house they were in with "Energa" (shoulder-mounted) missiles. The sources added that the occupation forces seized the bodies of the four martyrs.

Later, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement that its crews had transported one of the martyrs from the besieged house in Tammun to the hospital, though it was unclear whether this victim was one of the four or a fifth. Eyewitnesses reported that the occupation army began demolishing a house in the town after the four young men were killed.

Eyewitnesses also reported that Israeli military vehicles and bulldozers stormed the towns of Tubas and Tammun earlier Thursday, surrounding two homes and sending military reinforcements amid the sounds of live gunfire and explosions. According to witnesses, occupation forces carried out an explosion at a café in Tubas and bombed a besieged house in Tammun with Energa missiles.

Concurrently, Israeli Cabinet Secretary Yossi Fuchs stated in a post on the X platform that the fight against terrorism in the West Bank would intensify, announcing that more refugee camps would be targeted, which he claimed "constitute strongholds of terrorism."

In the same context, far-right Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich called for the destruction of the villages of Bruqin and Kafr ad-Dik in the northern West Bank, similar to the genocide carried out in Shuja'iyya and Tel al-Sultan in the Gaza Strip. Smotrich emphasized in a post on Twitter that "terrorist nests in Judea and Samaria" must be destroyed, referring to the West Bank.

These statements come after an Israeli settler was killed and her husband wounded in a shooting near the village of Bruqin in the northern West Bank on Wednesday. Since January 21, the occupation army has continued its aggression on the northern West Bank, resulting in the martyrdom, injury, and arrest of numerous Palestinians, in addition to the displacement of more than 40,000 people and widespread destruction in the Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nur Shams refugee camps.

In parallel with the war of extermination in the Gaza Strip, the occupation army and settlers have escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 966 Palestinians, the injury of approximately 7,000, and the arrest of more than 17,000, according to Palestinian data.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with full American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, leaving approximately 173,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, amid massive destruction and a devastating famine.

For decades, Israel has occupied territories in Palestine, Syria, and Lebanon, and refuses to withdraw from them and establish an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, along the pre-1967 borders.
