WAFA reported that Israeli occupation forces arrested four young men at dawn today from the town of Meithalun and the village of Anza, south of Jenin, after storming the towns and raiding a number of homes. This coincides with the ongoing operation against the city of Jenin and its camp for the 114th day.
In the Hebron Governorate, occupation forces continued their arrest campaign, arresting six Palestinians after storming the southern part of the city. They also raided Palestinian homes in the Khadour and Qatfa areas, searching and interrogating a number of them.
North of Ramallah, a 17-year-old boy was injured by rubber bullets during clashes with the occupation forces in the town of Abwein, after Israeli forces stormed the town and raided and searched homes.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces continue their demolition operations in the occupied West Bank. According to WAFA, Israeli bulldozers demolished two homes in the Ramallah and Bethlehem governorates on Wednesday. In the village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem, occupation forces demolished a house and a sheep barn, claiming they were built without a permit.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the occupation authorities carried out 73 demolitions in April, targeting 152 facilities, including 96 inhabited homes, 10 uninhabited homes, 34 agricultural facilities, and others. The demolitions were concentrated in the Tubas governorate, with 59 facilities, the Hebron governorate, with 39, and the Jerusalem governorate, with 17.
In a related development, dozens of settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem under the protection of Israeli police. They carried out provocative tours and performed Talmudic rituals. Israeli forces also raided the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, accompanied by a bulldozer, in preparation for further demolition operations.
In parallel with the genocidal war in Gaza, the Israeli occupation army and settlers have escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, resulting in the deaths of more than 962 Palestinians, the injury of nearly 7,000 others, and the arrest of more than 17,000 Palestinians, according to Palestinian data.
