National Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo hopes that the men's and women's Polri Volleyball teams can maintain their good achievements after becoming champions and finalists of the 2025 PLN Mobile Proliga.
"Hopefully, we will continue to train and bring the good name of the institution and of course continue to do our best because in the future there will be national and international championships," said the Chief of Police at the PTIK Auditorium, Jakarta, Tuesday.
Previously, the Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi men's team won the competition, while the Jakarta Popsivo Polwan became a finalist after being defeated by Jakarta Pertamina Enduro.
"I certainly congratulate both teams, which of course shows the dedication of the members in the Proliga, which is quite a prestigious event in Indonesia," he said.
According to the Chief of Police, the achievements of the men's and women's Polri volleyball teams were achieved through hard work, extraordinary discipline, training and maintaining team cohesion.
Meanwhile, he advised that in the future the Polri volleyball team can represent Indonesia and achieve success in international competitions.
Previously, the Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi volleyball team became the champion of this year's Proliga after defeating LavAni Livin Transmedia with a score of 3-2 (19-25, 23-25, 25-22, 25-22, 15-9), at the Among Rogo GOR, Yogyakarta, Sunday (11/5).
Meanwhile, Jakarta Popsivo Polwan lost to Jakarta Pertamina Enduro with a score of 0-3 (24-26, 22-25, 16-25).
