41 martyrs in Gaza within hours... and aid turns into a deadly trap

The bombing was concentrated in several areas in the north, center, and south, leaving dead and wounded, including children, women, and displaced persons queuing for food. In Wadi Gaza, west of Rafah, 11 civilians were killed while waiting for humanitarian aid, while the Shuja'iyya neighborhood witnessed an attack that killed three children and seriously injured a fourth.

In Khan Yunis, the bombing resulted in the deaths of 18 Palestinians after targeting tents for displaced people in Al-Mawasi and the eastern and southern areas. The neighborhoods of Al-Zeitoun, Al-Tuffah, and Old Gaza also witnessed scattered strikes, resulting in further casualties.

For his part, UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini said that two million Palestinians in Gaza are subjected to systematic starvation, noting that the aid distribution mechanism, supported by Israel and the United States, has become a deadly trap into which civilians are lured.

450 Palestinians have been killed and 3,466 others injured since the start of the so-called "US-Israeli mechanism" on May 27.

The mechanism, which is being implemented outside the purview of the United Nations, has drawn widespread criticism and rejection from international organizations, particularly given the growing number of casualties falling victim to those attempting to access food and medicine.

Since October 7, the Gaza Strip has been subjected to a comprehensive war of extermination, leaving more than 187,000 dead and wounded, and more than 11,000 missing, with nearly 1.5 million people displaced and losing their homes, amid mass destruction and a famine that is spreading day after day.
