Technology company Apple is reportedly likely to remove the AirDrop feature for its users in the European Union (EU) as a result of the implementation of the Digital Market Act (DMA) or the Digital Market Law which the company considers dangerous for user privacy.In the GSM Arena report, Wednesday, this can be concluded from Apple's official statement issued after its appeal against the DMA.The DMA has so far resulted in Apple receiving a sanction in the form of a fine of 500 million euros set in April 2025. For this, the company has appealed to the EU regulator.Apple stated that the appeal was filed by the company because it considered the regulation to interfere with the product experience developed by the company.
