Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman affirmed in a phone call with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Saturday evening that the Kingdom stands with Iran and all the peoples of the Islamic world in solidarity with Tehran.
The Saudi Crown Prince said, "All the peoples of the Islamic world today are united and united in their support for Iran, and that he seeks, through all his diplomatic efforts, to exert international pressure to halt the Zionist entity's aggression," as reported by Tasnim News Agency.
Bin Salman "strongly condemned the Zionist entity's unjust attacks on Iran."
He expressed his deepest condolences and solidarity with the Iranian people for the victims of these attacks, stressing that "Saudi Arabia stands firmly with its brothers in the Islamic Republic, and that the Islamic world today is united in its voice and position in support of Iran."
He continued, "We believe that Israel is seeking, by escalating tensions, to draw the United States into the heart of the conflict, but we are confident that Iran's balanced and rational response will thwart these attempts."
Bin Salman also stressed that his country would not hesitate to provide any necessary support to its brothers in Iran.
The Iranian president expressed his "deep gratitude for the fraternal communication from the Saudi Crown Prince and for the sincere cooperation from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia in providing services to pilgrims to the House of God."
"The attacks launched by the Zionist entity against our country once again confirm its aggressive nature," Pezeshkian added, explaining that "since assuming the presidency, he has sought to establish peace and stability in the region, but this entity has been constantly working to obstruct any Iranian achievement in various fields."
He added that strengthening unity and brotherhood among Islamic countries is the best way to confront Israeli crimes, particularly in the Gaza Strip. He called on the Kingdom to play a pivotal role in unifying Islamic ranks to defend the rights of Muslim peoples, expressing his hope that "efforts will come together to spread security and peace in the region."
