City beat Juventus 5-2, Pep praises Haaland's performance and 300th goal





 Manchester City closed the 2025 Club World Cup group stage with a convincing 5-2 victory over Juventus in the final match of Group G at Camping World Stadium, Orlando.

City manager Pep Guardiola called the match like a final and praised the intensity and quality of his team's play."Today was more or less like a final. We played to win and the team's performance was extraordinary," Guardiola said, as quoted from City's official website, Friday.Playing in high temperatures and heavy rain that poured down on the stadium in the second half, City remained dominant. The Citizens' goals were scored by Jeremy Doku (9'), Erling Haaland (52'), Phil Foden (69'), Savinho (75'), and an own goal from Pierre Kalulu (26').City had previously secured their place in the last 16, but remained determined to secure their group winner status. Their next opponent will be determined by the final result of Group H, with the potential of facing Real Madrid, RB Salzburg, or Al Hilal.
