Minister of Cooperatives Budi Arie Setiadi wants the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) to become an example for the development of the Red and White Village/Sub-district Cooperative program for all provinces in Indonesia.
"I hope that the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) will be an example for other provinces. And I am optimistic not because I have Yogyakarta blood, no," said Budi Arie at the handover ceremony of the Red and White Village/Sub-district Cooperative Legal Entity Decree in Tamanmartani Village, Sleman Regency, DI Yogyakarta, Sunday.
Budi said the Kopdes Merah Putih program consists of three main stages. The first stage is the establishment of the cooperative's legality which is targeted for completion by the end of June 2025.
