Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Nezar Patria held a bilateral meeting with the Director General of Digital Technology and Telecommunications at the UK's Department of Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) Emran Mian to discuss strengthening artificial intelligence (AI) collaboration between Indonesia and the UK.
The meeting was a space for the two countries to share experiences and best practices related to technology development which took place at the London Tech Week 2025 event in England, Tuesday (10/6) local time.
"This meeting is very valuable for exchanging views and learning from the UK's experience in developing an advanced digital ecosystem, especially in the field of AI," said Nezar Patria in a press statement received.
The main focus of the discussion includes building a resilient AI infrastructure, developing competent digital talent, and developing an adaptive regulatory framework to ensure the safe, ethical use of AI and provide maximum benefits to society.
