Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya Sugiarto said that the 2025 Ampera Tourism Run is a magnet to attract tourists to visit the oldest city in Indonesia.
Bima Arya Sugiarto after the activity at Ampera Bridge, Palembang, Sunday, expressed his appreciation for the Ampera Tourism Run 2025 activity which was considered to have extraordinary magnetic power in the city of Palembang.
This was also proven by the presence of thousands of people who enthusiastically participated in the event, while also making the people of Palembang healthy and able to recruit runner athletes.
The Ampera Tourism Run 2025 activity is also a series of events to celebrate the 1342nd Anniversary of the city of Palembang.
The 2025 Ampera Tourism Run activity that was held was also in line with the program of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Palembang Ratu Dewa - Prima Salam to realize a healthy Palembang.
"I appreciate the Mayor of Palembang Ratu Dewa who has successfully organized this activity. As we know, the Ampera Bridge and the Musi River are the background for this activity which is second to none in Indonesia," he said.
He also hopes that the activity can continue to be held and even be more crowded and not inferior to other cities such as Bogor.
"So that in the future we will help together to get more athlete runners here," he said.
He also revealed that the 2025 Ampera Tourism Run could become an iconic event awaited by the Indonesian people.
"Let's make this activity viral and let's give constructive suggestions to the mayor," he said.
Meanwhile, the Mayor of Palembang, Ratu Dewa expressed his gratitude and thanks for the presence of the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Bima Arya Sugiarto who was personally present and participated in the Ampera Tourism Run Event.
