Commission VII of the Republic of Indonesia's House of Representatives is collaborating with the National Standardization Agency (BSN) to socialize product standardization for micro, small and medium enterprises in Pekanbaru City, Riau Province to upgrade their class and improve their product quality.
Member of Commission VII of the DPR who also comes from the Riau 1 Electoral District, Hendry Munief in Pekanbaru, Sunday said that together with BSN, they initially received registrations for 100 MSME participants, but in the end it became 450 participants to take part in the socialization of standardization and conformity assessment for MSMEs.
"Because of the extraordinary enthusiasm of the MSME community, the number of participants has expanded to 450 participants. So MSMEs in Riau are ready to move up a class. We hope to have one spirit to be ready to collaborate, because it is impossible to move up a class without collaboration, that is the key word," said Hendry.
