President of the World Football Federation or FIFA Gianni Infantino said that the 2026 World Cup will not just be a football tournament but a celebration and connection that strengthens unity.
FIFA is celebrating one year ahead of the tournament which will be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
"A year from now, the biggest football tournament on the planet will truly captivate the world like never before," FIFA President Gianni Infantino said on the official FIFA website on Thursday.
"This is more than just a tournament, it is a global celebration of connection, unity and spirit," added Gianni Infantino.
The 2026 World Cup will be the first tournament to be held in three countries.
