Indonesia fielded four new diaspora players to face Kyrgyzstan

Indonesian women's national team coach Satoru Mochizuki immediately fielded four of his new diaspora players in the first match of Group D of the 2026 Women's Asian Cup qualifiers against Kyrgyzstan at the Indomilk Arena, Tangerang Regency.

The four new diaspora players are Iris Joska de Rouw as goalkeeper, Emily Julia Nahon as defender, Felicia Victoria de Zeeuw as midfielder, and Isa Guusje Warps as striker.

The match is crucial as only the group winners will advance to the finals in Australia next year. In addition to Kyrgyzstan, Group D also includes Pakistan and Taiwan.

Taiwan now tops the standings after securing a landslide 8-0 win over Pakistan in the first match at the Indomilk Arena on Sunday.

Looking ahead to this match, Garuda Pertiwi comes with positive capital because they are unbeaten in their last seven matches (4 wins, 3 draws), including a 0-0 draw against Bangladesh last May. In contrast, Kyrgyzstan is in a negative trend with seven consecutive defeats in all competitions.
