Iran's official news agency, IRNA, quoted Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf as saying that his country was about to pass a law ending cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) unless the agency provided "concrete guarantees of a professional approach."
"Iran has no intention of pursuing any non-peaceful nuclear activities," Qalibaf said. "The world has clearly seen that the IAEA has failed to fulfill any of its obligations and has become a political tool."
On Sunday, Iran's Atomic Energy Organization said that the US raids targeting nuclear facilities were carried out with "the acquiescence and even complicity of the International Atomic Energy Agency."
A statement issued by the authority criticized the International Atomic Energy Agency for its "failure to condemn" the attacks carried out by Israel and the United States on its facilities.
At dawn on Sunday, the United States launched airstrikes on the strategic facilities of Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan in Iran, complementing the military, intelligence, and logistical support Washington is providing to Israel in its aggression against Iran.
Since June 13, Israel has been waging a broad aggression against Iran, targeting nuclear facilities, bases, military leaders, nuclear scientists, and civilians. Tehran has responded by striking Israeli military and intelligence headquarters with ballistic missiles and drones, leaving casualties on both sides.
